Contribututions


Ms. Turner's class researched their tribes from the various regions. They wrote their paragraphs, edited, and typed them into Microsoft Word. They drew their pictures using Pixie.

Ms. Rivera's class took pictures at Stately Oaks. They wrote paragraphs about their experiences. The students imported the pictures into the program PhotoStory3. They added the text which was adapted from their paragraphs. The music was perfomed by Mrs. Wendt's and Mrs. Turner's classes.

Mrs. Lawler's class read the book The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush. They each painted a sunset using watercolors. They wrote sentences about the story including their own personal review.

Mrs. Pyke's class researched the clothing of Native Americans in each region. They created the dolls, took pictures, and wrote sentences.

Mrs. Gordon's class created Native American crafts and models of pueblos and teepees. They wrote the directions for how to make each craft and model. Mr. Key told the students a story about a bat. The students drew pictures creating the sequence of the story. Mrs. Mulkey put it together in a PhotoStory3 video.

Mrs. Wendt's class also researched the tribes of the Native Americans. They drew pictures of daily life of differents tribes. They typed sentences describing their picture.
